Leadership Training

is a summer-long program

for FOLLOWERS OF JESUS

IN MEMBER CHURCHES of

COLLEGIATE CHURCH NETWORK.

It's for those who desire

to be transformed

into people who impact

their world as they

live out their faith.

the challenge

Taking a look at Western Christianity, most who claim to be Christians are not making a significant impact on the people around them. Instead of influencing the world for God through their lives, as Christ says believers will in Matthew 5:13-16, the majority have assimilated to the culture to the point that their lives are undistinguishable from anyone else’s.

Jesus not only laid out His expectation of personal and cultural impact, He also set the example for us. So, why aren’t Christians acting like Jesus?

“The primary reason that people do not act like Jesus is because they do not think like Jesus. Behavior stems from what we think –our attitudes, beliefs, values, and opinions,” - George Barna, in Think Like Jesus.

THIS SUMMER, WILL YOU TAKE THE CHALLENGE?

this summer, will YOU ANSWER THE CALL?

the call

Many people who come to faith in Christ never learn what it means to be a disciple of Christ. That’s what LT is all about – LT helps to develop a biblical foundation for Christians to live out the heart and mind of Christ every day, and as they do that, to influence the world around them for God.

"Romans 12:2 clearly expresses God’s desire for us,” Barna continues. “We must intentionally turn our back on the world and aggressively develop a mind the world is incapable of recognizing. We are exhorted to undergo not just a change but a transformation. That’s what a biblical worldview does to us; it is an intellectual re-birthing of the person akin to the spiritual re-birthing that occurs in our soul when we embrace Christ as our savior.”

SO, IS LT FOR ME?

The primary audience for an LT program is members in one of the churches within Collegiate Church Network. It's a chance to gain momentum as a movement and for you to be trained in Christian leadership.

When you apply to LT, you'll be put through an assessment process that will help program leadership determine if a summer at LT is a good fit for you.

We care about your spiritual, physical, and emotional health, and we desire to see you flourish. We love LT and also see the value in a summer spent receiving other care and training in other contexts. Ultimately, we want to set you up for success no matter what your summer holds.
